1979年ニューヨーク、ブルックリン生まれ。現在東京在住のこのアーティストは自身が"エモーショナル・リアリズム"と呼ぶ動きのある作品をつくっている。彼はエロティックな写真シリーズ"tokyo undressed"で2008年英国エロティック・アワードのphotographer of the yearを受賞。現在Power Shovel Booksで写真シリーズを制作中、写真とドローイング作品の自主制作・発行をし続けている。彼はその強い情感と知覚によって、単純なイメージを揺り動かす力を持っている。彼の最新のプロジェクト「未来は今始まる」は東京・JR目白駅前に新築される目白幼稚園の為の恒久的な公的建築コラボレーション。



Rikki Kasso, born in Brooklyn 1979. This Award winning artist now based in Tokyo creates moving works he calls "Emotional Realism". His erotic photos have earned him the 2008 photographer of the year award in the UK. Currently in production of his photo volumes with Power Shovel Books, he has already self produced and published his photos and drawing works. With a strong sense of emotion and perception he has the power to move with a single image.
His Newest project "The Future Starts Now" , a permanent public architecture collaboration for the new Mejiro Elementary School in front of JR Mejiro Station, Tokyo.
